I'm a retired Nurse and my husband is a retired Construction Supervisor. After retirement we worked as wedding photographers for a local Photographer and also photographed seniors and family portraits. My husband, Pat and I are part time Professional Photographers photographing mostly landscapes and fun portraits of the grandchildren,and my passion is old barns now as we are getting just a bit older. Can never seem to put the camera down no matter how old I get! I love to dabble in digital art and digital painting. I've done traditional painting, but found digital to be so much faster with no drying time or mess to clean up, although does take time and actually more difficult then traditional I believe. Brush work is so different...

Magnificent artwork, mary .. you've really hit the nail on the head with this beautiful scene ... the unsung magic of a rainy, winter day ... what someone else might see as a dreary scene ... you the artist see and create the glory and the magic!!!! Wonderful work on the details of the barn and those old, graying boards, and that fabulous roof ... and I especially love the diffused clouds on the mountains in the distance ... so perfectly done!!!!!
