One of life's mysteries (and wonders) is how something so dilapidated can, at the same time, be so beautiful. Great title for a beautiful image with such intrigue. Love it!

Wonderful work Mary...Did this Barn make it through the winter?

Mary Timman replied:

Thanks Julie...I'm not sure about the barn now...we saw this when we were traveling out west a few years ago.. Makes you wonder though.

About Mary Timman

Mary Timman

I'm a retired Nurse and my husband is a retired Construction Supervisor. After retirement we worked as wedding photographers for a local Photographer and also photographed seniors and family portraits. My husband, Pat and I are part time Professional Photographers photographing mostly landscapes and fun portraits of the grandchildren, and my passion is old barns now as we are getting just a bit older. Can never seem to put the camera down no matter how old I get! I love to dabble in digital art and digital painting. I've done traditional painting, but found digital to be so much faster with no drying time or mess to clean up, although does take time and actually more difficult then traditional I believe. Brush work is so different...
